The Mad Crow Collective participated in Prov Flux III, June 2006 with our Do Something Together Project. Originally conceived as a redux to our 5 hours tied to each other project, it turned out to be more of an arts-and-crafts scavanger hunt in the rain.
Standing at a table in Providence's Market Square, armed with several lengths of rope, an uncoiled sweater, labelled rocks, upholstered rocks, and two dismembered teddy bears - to name a few - we engaged passersby to craft objects they would then place in the nooks of providence they felt most suited.
Participants then provided us with a hand-drawn map to their booty, which we followed in the rain to document.
Maybe next time we'll actually tie strangers together for the full experience.
